Michelin - Guardian Angel

Michelin Fishing Postcard 4-B.jpg

In a perfect world, this would be a broadcast spot. Our Guardian Angel moping around, trying to find something to do to take up all this new free time. He’s never been through this before, well maybe around the hallmark of antibiotics, or the invention of the seatbelt, but it’s been a while since something like Michelin tires has made his job so obsolete. People are safe, and he doesn’t have any “guardian-ing” to do. He’s trying fly-fishing; fighting with the line, having trouble tying ties, getting tangled in the lure. It’s not going well. Neither are his attempts at yoga or still-life painting. Maybe he should take up gardening? In a larger campaign, there would be print ads like the ones in the gallery . Also, if the campaign covered multiple platforms, emails (or even snail mail) postcards could be sent to the potential client showing our bored angel on his many adventures . Maybe he goes totally “Eat Pray Love” and we see him in Venice, at the Pyramids, on the Great Wall of China. The point is Michelin tires are so safe, your guardian angel will have a lot of time on his/her hands.
